Notice is hereby given that BROOKS RUN SOUTH MINING, LLC, PO BOX 460, BRENTON, WV 24818 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U301512 in order to add 2576.79 acres of underground mining in the Pocahontas No. 3 Seam.

The revised permit will discharge into Unnamed tributaries of Shop Branch and Shop Branch of Indian Creek of Guyandotte River; Unnamed Tributaries of Wolf Pen Branch of Indian Creek of Guyandotte River; Jud Branch of Indian Creek, Bee Branch of Indian Creek of Guyandotte River; Unnamed Tributaries of Big Branch and Big Branch of Guyandotte River; and Guyandotte River of Ohio River of OHIO RV and is located 2.11 (miles), Southeast of Brenton, in Baileysville, Center Districts of Wyoming County and Browns Creek District of McDowell County, Longitude 81° 37 ' 2 “ and Latitude 37 ° 34 ' 21” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
