Notice is hereby given that CORNERSTONE PROCESSING, LLC, 150 COURTHOUSE ROAD, SUITE 302, PRINCETON, WV 24740 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 22.68 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O400111 to operate and maintain a loadout facility and associated haulroads in the N/A seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Elkhorn Creek of Tug Fork River of Big Sandy River and is located 0.70 miles, Southwest of Elkhorn in Adkin/Elkhorn District of McDowell County, Longitude 81˚ 23 ' 42 †and Latitude 37 ˚ 22 ' 55 †(Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

A copy of the application will be available for review until April 24th, 2026, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
